The Trade Show Assessment provides information on how each trade show meets the needs of NAGASA members exhibiting at selected shows and supports members in trade show decision making and strategizing. In addition, the Trade Show Assessment provides members independent information and feedback to trade show management. The Trade Show Committee of NAGASA coordinates this service.

  2. We sold most of what we brought and also took sizeable orders
  3. Mostly
  4. In terms of leads, yes, for the international market. Complete success won’t be known for months

  6. International contracts were good – very little to no local dealers or customers
  7. Less than anticipated

Comments

  1. It gets better and better each year – for us
  2. Maybe not
  3. With a Latin American distributor
  4. Getting a good location is always a struggle! This show is not exhibitor friendly on selling and assigning space
  5. With leads generated will probably meet objective

3. What are your key recommendations to improve this show overall?

  1. Travel agency did a great job
  2. Booth "bundles" incorporating freight and furniture into space rates
  3. Improve parking: no parking and ticketing during drop-off. Very poor arrangement
  4. More variation of food, more space for tables, chairs, and lounge areas
  5. More flexibility in working with translation services – offer part-time translators and not just full-time translators as the hours of 5-6 are very slow, as are opening hours from 11 – 12
  6. Show hours on Sunday need to be reduced and opening hours should be 11:00 am
  7. This is the third year in a row that a machine has been damaged between booth and dock
  8. More local (Florida) promotion
  9. First pay, first choice on floor space. Get rid of unfair, impractical, and discriminatory point system
  10. Have show Sunday, Monday, Tuesday rather than Friday, Saturday, Sunday. On weekends local companies did not come to show, it seemed
