NAGASA Assistance
NAGASA is assisting
member companies with Y2K efforts in five ways:
- Distribution of information, including legislative action items and
consultants who can help. Look for this information in the coming Highlights
mailing. Contact NAGASA to get additional copies.
- Posting on the NAGASA web site a common Y2K Readiness
Survey. Use this form to:
•Ask your customers, suppliers, and other vendors about their compliance
•Encourage them to use the form to ask their suppliers about compliance
as well
•Reply to organizations contacting you about Y2K compliance - Making available Y2K hotlinks for member
companies on the NAGASA website. NAGASA will include a Y2K hotlinks
in the Y2K section of our web page to members without charge. Contact
either Vickie or Peter for details on arranging this.
- Making available a Y2K discussion section
on the NAGASA website. Not all information can be found through a survey.
NAGASAís website will permit interested parties to post and exchange
questions, comments, concerns, solutions, and other information.
- Posting copies of your companyís completed Y2K Readiness Survey
on the web. If you wish, NAGASA will post member surveys in the members-only
section of the NAGASA web site. Alternately, you may want only to include
this data on your own web site or request that interested organizations
contact you to get a hard copy of your completed survey.
- Maintaining on the NAGASA web site a listing of products/services
that NAGASA members and other organizations report to be Year 2000 compliant.
NAGASA will request and maintain a hard-copy notebook of this documentation
as well.
