The Internet has provided a new avenue by which dealers and their customers can access MSDS information. CHEM VIEW is building a web site to allow this to happen, and NAGASA is supporting this effort since it promises to expand the ease with which the channel and the channel’s customers can get up-to-date MSDS information. CHEM VIEW plans to provide access to these materials without charge. Creating this online database is a big, but necessary, undertaking. CHEM VIEW has committed to making this happen, and they need your help. That’s why I’m contacting you. In order to put the MSDS materials on line CHEM VIEW needs either:
Please help make this on-line database a reality. Indicate and return
to me the name of a person at your company whom CHEM VIEW can contact
about getting either PDF files or clean, hard copies of your current
MSDS forms. CHEM VIEW will then arrange specifics with this person.
If any costs are required to scan or convert your hard-copy documents
into a web document, CHEM VIEW will bear this cost.
On this last point, we’re planning to introduce this web site and its contents at the National Environmental Health and Safety (NEHS) Conference taking place this March in Cincinnati. This conference is sponsored by leading customer associations and attended by key customer and governmental representatives. Providing MSDS information for inclusion on the site over the next months will be a terrific way of highlighting your support of web-enabled access to your MSDS materials! Please let me know of any questions you might have. Thanks again! Please mail, fax, or email this by December 30, 1999 to: Click Here to download this in Word Format
