Presstek Acquires Heath Custom
Press Presstek, Inc. (NASDAQ:PRST) today announced that it has acquired
Heath Custom Press, Inc of Seattle, Washington, an established designer
and manufacturer of custom printing presses. Heath was purchased for 94,865
shareas of unregistered Presstek common stock and will operate as a subsidiary
of the Company. Heath Custom Press will continue to be based in Seattle,
Washington. The transaction will not involve any workforce reduction.
Heath Custom Press is Presstek's second subsidiary; the first, Delta V
Technologies, which recently changed its name from Catalina Coatings,
is a manufacturer of vacuum deposition equipment, headquartered in Tucson,
Arizona.
