TrendWatch Announces Investment Survey Results: Macintosh Still Number
One on Industry's Shopping List
The 1997 Fall TrendWatch Printing Industry survey and analysis indicates
that 42% of the respondents are planning to purchase Macintosh computers
in the next 12 months. Case in point, nearly 60% of service bureaus and
color separators have them budgeted in '98. Although in terms of demand
for Windows 95 workstations is up from 21% (six months ago) to 33%, and
Windows NT makes the list at 12% in these shops. The survey results are
excerpts fro the complete report entitled 1997 Fall TrendWatch Printing
Industry Report, which is now available through TrendWatch. The survey
is based upon nearly 3,000 statistically representative firms, with a
