Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG and Creo Products Make Announcement
DUSSELDORF--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG and Creo Products Inc., Canada, today announced a far-reaching agreement in principle for a partnership in the area of Computer-to-Plate systems. The agreement encompasses joint development, production, and marketing of co-branded CtP solutions for the printing industry.
The collaboration between Heidelberg, the world's leading supplier of printing equipment, and Creo, the world's leading supplier of Computer-to-Plate systems, marks an aggressive reinforcement of the companies' joint mission to become the preeminent supplier of Computer-to-Plate solutions to the printing industry. The partnership will offer a comprehensive family of CtP systems and workflow solutions to be presented at Imprinta.
In the Linotype-Hell booth, the partnership will feature a thermal Trendsetter 3244 from Creo, the new 4-page thermal Herkules Plate system, and the visible light 8-page fully automatic Gutenberg. In the Creo booth, the partnership will unveil the Trendsetter Spectrum 3244 with its new plate autoloading option and its halftone color proofing capability.
