- Fax: 202-328-8513 April 16, 1998 KENNESAW, GEORGIA -- Heidelberg is consolidating the strategic management of its U.S., Canadian and Mexican operations uder a new corporate entity called Heidelberg Americas, Inc. The hold company, which was inaugurated on April 1, oversees Heidelberg USA, Heidelberg Canada, and the newly formed Heidelberg Mexico. Hartmut Mehdorn, Chairman of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, heads up the new company, serving as Chairman. Holger Reichardt, member of the parent company's Executive Board and its Director of Marketing, is Vice Chairman. Ian A. Lyons, Senior Vice President/CFO of Heidelberg USA, will concurrently serve in that role for Heidelberg Americas. However, he is scheduled to be reassigned later this year to help lead the launch of Heidelbergís new activities in the Asian Region. When Lyons moves on, the current President of Heidelberg Canada, James P. Dunn, will become Senior Vice President/CFO of Heidelberg Americas and serve as a deputy to Hans Peetz-Larsen. At that time, William Blair, presently Regional Manager/South at Heidelberg USA, will replace Dunn as President of Heidelberg Canada. Neils Winther moved up on April 1 to become President/COO of Heidelberg USA, reporting to Hans Peetz-Larsen.
