New Dupont Digital Dylux Proofing Media for Gerger IMPRESS Signature

DuPont Proofing and Gerber Systems announced that they have agreed to a joint marketing effort to offer industry's first complete solution for digital imposition proofing. DuPont will produce and supply Digital Dylux consumables made to the requirements of the Gerber IMPRESS double sided signature proofing.
DuPont will produce Digital Dylux proofing media punched
to match the patented registration system on the IMPRESS proofer, under
license from Gerber. The IMPRESS, which is based on Hewlett-Packard Designjet
large format printer, is the first low-cost, full format, two-sided digital
prepress solution for proofing eight-page signatures. DuPont's Digital Dylux
proofing media is designed to accept two-sided ink jet application. Gerber's
registration system keeps the pre-punched paper in tight register from front
to back.
