Kodak Polychrome Graphics to Close Plant in Binghamton, New York
NORWALK, CONNECTICUT -- Kodak Polychrome Graphics today announced plans to close its plant in Binghamton, NY. The Binghamton plant closing is consistent with the company strategy to streamline operations and consolidate some of its product lines. Products currently offered in the company's portfolio will replace products manufacturered in Binghamton. The company plans to close the plant in phases with complete closing expected at the end of the year. Approximately 500 are employed at the plant are affected by the closure. Employees were notified of the phased shutdown today.
