Agfa and Oce Printing Systems Announce Strategic Alliance
MORTSEL, BELGIUM - At the Oce OpenHouse '98 in Poing new Munich, Agfa-Gevaert N.V. and Oce N.V. announced their commitment to enter into a long-term, worldwide strategic partnership in the field of digital printing. The companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding, covering a wide range of cooperation including co-marketing, reselling programs and joint R&D activities, to be realized via Oce's business unit Oce Printing Systems and Agfa's Digital Printing Division. Both parties acknowledged one another as offering complementary solutions and the intention to widen the market presence of both companies by combining forces. Excerpt from Agfa press release.
