ERCM Introduces New Mako 5625 Imagesetter: Produces Fully-Imposed 4-up Films

The new Mako 5625 is a 4-up imagesetter, which produces a fully-imposed 4-up imposition with sufficient room for gutters, cropmarks and color bars. It can image films up to 22.1" wide (wide enough to fully mask most 4-up printing plates).

The Mako 5625 offers resolutions from 1,000 to 3,556 dpi and repeatability of 30 microns, ideal for 4-C commercial work.

The Mako 5625 joins ECRM's other successful wide format imagesetter, the StingRay. Both imagesetters were designed to be another solution for printers seeking to achieve the benefits of full electronic imposition without the costs associated with direct-to-plate systems. These ECRM solutions eliminate the need for traditional page assembly methods, offering the benefits of direct-to-plate-systems at a fraction of the cost. The Mako 5625 is setting new price-and value benchmarks for full 4-up imagesetting.
