Agfa Completes Toner Plant
Agfa announced that is has completed a new plant in Heultje,
Belgium, to manufacturer the dry color microtoners for its Chromapress digital
color printing system. The new, multi-million dollar plant will allow Agfa
to meet the growing demand for consumables. In the fourth quarter of 1996,
Agfa reported the highest sales to date of Chromapress, fueling a 60% increase
in overall revenue for systems and consumables compared to the same period
in 1995.
