Glunz & Jensen takes over Unigraph Equipment

With the purchase of the share capital of the English company Unigraph, Glunz & Jensen has taken a very essential step towards a leading position in the world market of plate processors to the graphic industry.

Unigraph Equipment Ltd.'s main field of business is R&D, manufacture, and sales of processing equipment for offset plates to the graphic industry. It is also the market leader of thermal CTP plate processors, their Quartz product line being state-of-the-art. Unigraph is also strong within Plate Street equipment and technologies used in connection with waterless and flexo plate processing. Exports are approx. 80%, and their customers include several of the biggest distributors in the graphic industry.

Unigraph was founded in 1981, and today has approx. 75 employees and a modern production plant of approx. 3,000 m2 in Thetford, 80 miles northeast of London.
Daily management is taken care of by Bill Day, Managing Director, who has been with the company since 1987.

Glunz & Jensen is a leading global supplier of film and plate processing systems to the prepress area in the graphic industry. They manufacture and sell processors for photographic films in the professional photo area as well as in the amateur photo area together with cutting and packaging machinery to photofinishers. The company has 375 employees of which the majority works at the facilities in Ringsted, Denmark.
