Intergraph Computer Systems announced that its TDZ® 2000 GL2 ViZual Workstation and StudioZ™ RenderRAX™ III rackmount workstation are immediately available with single or dual Pentium® III processors at 550 MHz, simultaneous with the shipment of processors from Intel®.

Ideal for animators, mechanical CAD designers and other graphics professionals, the TDZ 2000 GL2 delivers the highest Pentium III processor performance and the industry’s broadest selection of graphics options, from the high-end 2D through highest-performance 3D graphics. The StudioZ RenderRAX III is designed for the broadcast/video and entertainment markets and is the first Pentium III-processor based rackmount rendering engine for animation and computer-generated imagery (CGI) applications.

The Intergraph family of workstations, featuring the fastest Intel Pentium III processor, provides an exceptional price/performance for creative and technical professionals working in digital media, prepress and publishing, MCAD, and visual simulation. the new Windows NT®-based systems are available immediately with prices starting under $2,900.
