NSTF Releases Guide To Industry Recruits

Now available for employers is a collection of resumes profiling top honor students whose graphic communications educations were supported through scholarships from the National Scholarship Trust Fund (NSTF).

Hire Education provides information on 132 students including their educational background, honors, career objectives, and work experience. The students' training and interests range from desktop design, prepress and press operation to sales and production management. The college freshmen through graduate students looking for internships or full-time employment represent 31 states.

In the booklet's introduction, NSTF chairman John Wurst urges the industry to take advantage of their free and valuable recruitment tool to locate motivated and bright students as it can save you tens of thousands of dollars over the time it would take to teach a person on your own.

During the- 1998-1999 academic year NSTF granted $366,000 in scholarships to
356 students. The NSTF's Scholarship Committee selected winners from over 2,000 applicants.
