OcÈ Imaging Supplies Extends Color/Plus
Product Line With New Products And Upgrades
Océ Imaging Supplies introduces 12 new products and product upgrades
to extend its Color/Plus product line to cover expanding applications
for wide-format inkjet imaging.
Originally introduced in 1996 Océ's Color/Plus line of papers.
films and vinyls for wide-format digital applications are specially designed
for one of the fastest growing digital imaging segments -display graphics
applications.
The new additions and the rest of the Color/Plus family of products are
all designed to perform optimally with OEM inks at prescribed OEM color-value
settings, providing the most consistent imaging capabilities in the industry.
The following Color/Plus products have been upgraded to universal coatings
compatible with a number of inkjet printers including Hewlett-Packard
and Encad: art paper, white glossy film, clear film, white and clear permanent
adhesive films, white and clear static cling films and pressure sensitive
vinyl.
The new products being added to the Color/Plus line are as follows:
- GlossyCanvas – Oce's newest canvas has a high-gloss finish
to meet the demands of digital fine-a rt and photographic reproductions.
- View -Through Backlit Film - Designed to replace traditional Duratrans-type
photo
process film. Boasts the thickest caliper (7 mil) on the market and superior scratch resistance and imaging.
- Outdoor Vinyl - This matte calendered vinyl is flexible and specially
designed for excellent inkjet receptivity.
- Outdoor Banner Material - Offering superior durability, performance
and value.
Provides the performance of vinyl at the price of reinforced paper.
More Color/Plus products and upgrades are planned for 3rd and 4th quarter 1999.
