get them posted. June 9, 1997 The staff of Southwest Printing Ink Company (SWPI) and its manufacturing and distribution operations have joined the BESCO Graphic Systems group. SWPI owner, Gil Carrillo, will be Vice President/Manager for BESCO San Antonio and Gene Buckner will be Operations Manager. Chicago based Besco is one of the largest distributor of graphic arts supplies and equipment in the U. S. with 22 branches coast to coast, and has the largest market share in the state of Texas. BESCO San Antonio will be expanding its ink and pressroom chemistry manufacturing to supply the entire 22 branch chain. Other major projects include establishing south Texasí first electronic imaging demo and training center, and a complete ìone stop shoppingî ink, paper, and printing supplies store in the downtown area. Gil Carrillo, who spent 17 years in graphic products manufacturing
and distribution in Mexico City, will also direct BESCO's international
marketing program for exports to Mexico and Latin America. | ||
