WESTERN LITHOTECH Management Changes And Expansion At Western Lithotech's Jacksonville
Plant Lorie Wilson has been named production manager of the Western Lithotech
plant in Jacksonville, TX, reporting to Shozo Nashiki, VP, Plate Manufacturing.
She will have overall responsibility for the coil-to-coil, conversion,
chemical processing, shipping and receiving operations. Wilson has more
than 20 years of production experience including 10 years with another
Mitsubishi Chemical Company subsidiary, Kasai Memory Products, manufacturer
of Verbatim floppy diskettes. In another management move, and also reporting to Shozo Nashiki, L.C.
Malone accepted the newly created position of logistics manager. He will
have overall supervision of purchasing, scheduling, SAP implementation
and customer service. Additionally, Western Lithotech's Customer Service Department will be
transferred to Jacksonville from St. Louis to expedite customer orders
and improve scheduling of production. Western Lithotech is also making a substantial investment in a SAP computer
system designed to improve scheduling and order tracking-thus improving
customer service. Among its many features SAP allows a customer to learn
the exact status of an order in the production cycle. SAP is being implemented
at the Mitsubishi Chemical America headquarters and all subsidiaries.
