BEDFORD, MA -- August 6, 1999 --Scitex Corporation Ltd. (NASDAQ: SCIXF)
today announced the Scitex Grandjet V2(tm) super-wide format digital printer.
The Scitex Grandjet V2 digital printer provides a highly cost-effective,
versatile system for printing high quality super-wide format color jobs,
yet requires a relatively small floor space. A new addition to the range
of wide format products already offered by Scitex, the Scitex Grandjet
V2 printer offers new and veteran digital printers a cost-effective way
to tap into the lucrative wide format digital printing market. Printing at widths of up to 87" (2.2m), the Scitex Grandjet V2 printing
system offers the same rich features and versatility provided by its wider
format siblings, the Scitex Grandjet V5(tm) and Scitex Grandjet V3(tm)
printers. With a footprint of just 1 x 148 " x 40" (2 x 3.75m
x 1m ), the Scitex Grandjet V2 is a state-of-the-art, drop-on-demand piezo
electric system, compact in size yet grand on output. "Once again Scitex is demonstrating its expertise in tailoring products
to the varying needs and budgets of our customers," said Dov Ofer,
VP Sales, Marketing and Business Development of the Scitex Wide Format
Printing Division. "Printers looking to expand into the digital printing

business will find the Scitex Grandjet V2 perfect for their needs." Scitex has already established itself as a leader in the wide format
printing business with its Scitex Grandjet V5 and V3 systems, the Idanit
162AD(tm) wide format printer and the new Scitex Pressjet(tm) wide and
super-wide format printers. With the addition of the Scitex Grandjet V2
printer to its line of wide format digital presses, Scitex offers the
most comprehensive range of wide format printing solutions available. The Scitex Grandjet V2 super-wide format digital printer can print at
resolutions of up to 370dpi. It prints on a wide variety of substrates,
including the more demanding ones such as textile, at speeds of up to
