newest scanner, the EskoScan Vincent, as well as products such as its
management software called NewAge, at the Seybold Show taking place at
the Moscone Convention Centre in San Francisco from August 31 to September
2. EskoScan Vincent is the successor to the EskoScan 1318 flatbed A3-sized copyDot and color scanner. The scanner is now sold with a comprehensive package of software, including the latest versions of Purup-Eskofot products such as:
The EskoScan Vincent uses the most current Version 8.0 of the EskoScan
software. As a copydot scanner it is now possible to divide a set of color
separations over two or more carrier sheets, depending on the size. Further,
the EskoScan Vincent can perform auto-registration with individual software
rotation of each color separation in order to compensate for mounting
errors. A new digital noise and filter eliminates dust and scratches from
bitmaps without deteriorating screen dots and text. The new EskoScan JPS
software has been upgraded to allow selective color correction, making
it possible to go into a color image and correct the color of a single
object without influencing the whole image. JPEG compression of CT images
has now become standard in this product as well. Contact: Lesley Simpson, Phillip Paris at AD Communications. Phone: +44-0-1372-464470. Email: lesley@adcommunications co.uk. Web: www.adcomms.co.uk
