it has been selected by Oracle Corp. as a member of the Oracle(r) Supplier
Network. The Oracle Supplier Network is a group of companies selected
to provide content and related services to Oracle Exchange -- a major
new initiative by Oracle to provide an on-line business-to-business marketplace
-- and also integration with Oracle's Internet Procurement applications.
The combination of Collabria PrintCommerce and Oracle's procurement solutions
further streamlines the print industry supply chain by seamlessly integrating
a customer's print order with the print manufacturing and fulfillment
process. Collabria offers an e-commerce solution that dramatically reduces the
cost of procuring, manufacturing, and distributing printed material. A
client, using the service, logs in to their customized, secure Web site,
personalizes their printed material (e.g., letterhead, business cards,
brochures, data sheets) and completes an order form. The client then approves
an on-screen proof and submits their order. The print manufacturer receives
a printing press ready file dramatically reducing pre-press costs and
reducing the time needed for production and fulfillment of their customer's
order. Alan Hu, President and CEO of Collabria, said, "We're delighted
to partner with Oracle in this strategic initiative. Oracle and Collabria
share a common goal of delivering e-business solutions that offer dramatic
cost efficiencies in business-to-business supply chains. Collabria's focus
on print automation enhances Oracle's enterprise procurement and supply
chain integration solutions. The combined solution will offer dramatic
savings to customers." Kevin Miller, Vice President, Internet Procurement, Oracle Corp., added,
"Collabria is a valuable addition to the Oracle Supplier Network.
Collabria's expertise in the $90 billion commercial printing industry
is a welcome addition to Oracle Exchange, and we expect that Collabria
will help meet the unique needs of print procurement and management via
the Internet." Collabria is based in Menlo Park, California. It provides print manufacturers
