Harlequin-based RIP printing solutions, announces the PressRoom Express™
RIP for color copiers including the Konica 7723, Minolta CF900/CF910,
Mita CI7500, and Xerox 5750, 5775, 5790, and Majestik Regal. PressRoom
Express is a turnkey RIP solution that includes:
- Postscript Level 3 compliant Harlequin-based software RIP with
support for PDF input
- Expandable Intel-based 400 MHz RIP server with Microsoft NT Workstation
software
- Heidelberg's PrintOpen™ ICC profile generation software
- ICC profile processing support
PressRoom Express leverages the cost efficiencies and scalability provided
by this standards-based open platform solution to deliver the first under
$5,000 external software-based RIP. Compose has bundled PressRoom Express
with PrintOpen, a professional yet easy-to-use ICC profile generation
tool used to characterize the color copier and achieve color-definitive
