COLOR SAVVY INTRODUCES COLORCONTROLSTATION, A BREAKTHROUGH
PRODUCT IN AUTOMATED COLOR MEASUREMENT
Springboro, OH, August 31, 1999: Color Savvy Systems Limited introduces
the ColorControlStation 81, the first fully automated device for printer
calibration, profiling and process control
The ColorControlStation is the first device of its kind to run completely
unattended during the measurement process. In contrast to strip-reading
devices, users insert the calibration or profile target into the feed
tray and press the measure button. The ColorControlStation is versatile
and provides densitometric values for calibration and process control
applications, and colorimetric values for printer profiling applications.
The ColorControlStation retails for $2250, which is almost a third the
price of automated XY tables currently sold in the marketplace and makes
the ColorControlStation an excellent value for users to calibrate as well
as to create custom ICC profiles for their printing devices.
The ColorControlStation was designed to meet the growing need for a fully
automated measurement device in the digital imaging marketplace, so color-critical
users get the color right the first time. The ColorControlStation maximizes
the output capability of color copiers, color printers, proofing devices
and digital presses and will be supported by major RIP, process control,
and profiling vendors as part of the Savvy Connections Program.
