The Big Apple Has Big Print Demand

Citing the U.S. Commercial Print Sellers Atlas, Trendwatch reports that the New York City metro area (using the definition of the Census Bureau) leads the list of U.S. metro areas in demand for general commercial printing, with $5.7 billion in 1998. That's nearly 8% of the $73 billion U.S. print demand. The Chicago metro area comes in second with $3.0 billion in print demand and Los Angeles with $2.5 billion. Washington, D.C. ($2.2 billion) and Minneapolis ($2.0 billion) round out the top five metro areas in print demand. Trendwatch suggests that companies review where sales people are located in relation to their prospects. We've seen many companies where sales coverage and sales potential are out of balance. When it comes to sales, being in the right place at the right time shouldn't be accidental.
