Private Business, Inc. Offers New NAGASA Member Service
Washington, DC, September 1, 1999: The North American Graphic Arts Suppliers Association (NAGASA) announced that it initiated a partnership with Private Business, Inc. (PBI) to provide members with a program that manages cash flow and accounts receivable. Entitled Business Manager®, this program allows members to outsource the ongoing processing, billing, and tracking of invoiced shipments in order to fund ongoing receivables on a daily basis without any interference in customer relationships. Key to the program is the control that clients retain throughout the invoicing and collections process.
Commenting on the new program, NAGASA President and CEO Peter Brehm said, "NAGASA is committed to expanding the range of member programs that help the channel manage processes more efficiently. While the benefits of using Business Manager apply to organizations of any size, this effort can have an even more dramatic and positive impact on the cash flow and daily operations of medium and smaller-sized dealers and manufacturers." Brehm also noted that, "Business Manager not only offers manufacturers and dealers with a new way of managing receivables, it also represents an exciting new value-added service that dealers can offer to their customers, reinforcing dealer support of the customer’s total process."
