(PJR). "Many of our customers have implemented quality management systems based on ISO 9000," said Quality Assurance Director and ISO Administrator Michael Mohs. "We believe that, as supplier, having a common quality system will facilitate communication and produce mutually beneficial improvement initiatives." The employee-owned company has been in business since 1954 and is located in Milwaukee. Some of its major customers include ACI, Sheldahl, Hadco, World Color and Banta. The implementation and registration process took 18 months. All employees received basic training on the ISO system. Individuals and teams then began the process of documenting procedures, creating a consistent system and auditing results for compliance. According to Mohs, ISO 9001 registration has had a positive effect on RBP’s operations. "Employees are more aware of quality requirements and take a greater ownership of the products and services they provide. Our focus now will be on continually improving what we do to ensure present and future customer satisfaction," he said. Contact: Michael Mohs or Nancy Antonicci at RBP, 150 South 118th Street/PO
