NAGASA’s Forum 2000 to Focus on Commerce in the New Millennium; Dates Set for April 8-11 in San Antonio and Program Co-chairs Confirmed

Washington, DC, October 15, 1999: The North American Graphic Arts Suppliers Association (NAGASA) confirmed that dates for Forum 2000, the 8th Annual Printing and Imaging Distribution Conference, are set for Sunday – Tuesday, April 9 – 11, at the Hilton Palacio del Rio on San Antonio’s famed Riverwalk. Pre-conference workshops and events are planned for Saturday, April 8.

Event planners also announced that heading up Forum 2000 as program co-chairs are leading members of the channel, including:

  • Doris Brown, Sr. Manager/Strategic Dealer Development, AGFA Corporation
  • Mark Ellisor, President, Thompson Litho Supply
  • Robert G. Fritz, National Accounts Manager, Polyfibron Technologies, Inc.
  • Don Harvey, Director of Marketing, Graphics Imaging, xpedx

Each year Forum brings together hundreds of business and technical leaders from American, Canadian, and international channels to examine key trends and issues. Attendees use the intensive three-day event to learn what’s new, network, and deliberate on what the channel can do to better meet customer needs, enhance distribution process efficiencies, and improve profitability.

Forum 2000 examines how the functionality of the channel is changing as distribution processes enter the new millenium and the key technical, economic and market drivers shaping those changes. Attendees deliberate on the specific, tactical actions that organizations need to take in order to address and anticipate these changes.

The Forum 2000 preliminary program is available. Contact NAGASA to get a copy by phone (202-328-8441), fax (202-328-8513) or email (information@nagasa.org).
