SCITEX REACHES NEW CUSTOMERS WITH EVERSMART JAZZ SCANNERS
BEDFORD, MA -- November 9, 1999 -- Scitex Corporation Ltd. (NASDAQ:SCIX) today launched the EverSmart Jazz(tm) line of scanners, bringing world-renowned Scitex quality to a new class of professionals at a new market price. With the introduction of the EverSmart Jazz and EverSmart Jazz+(tm) scanners, the design community and small commercial printers can now create print-ready jobs in-house, thereby achieving full control over quality and production schedules.

Built-in Scitex expertise and full automation make the EverSmart Jazz an unmatched solution in its scanner class. A single key stroke optimizes the quality of images with SmartSet(tm), an application feature that automatically modifies the scanning parameters of an image according to supplied or customized input categories.
