REXAM IMAGE PRODUCTS APPOINTS NEW SALES MANAGER FOR LATIN AMERICA
SOUTH HADLEY, MA, November 22, 1999 -- Rexam Image Products, a worldwide leader in the manufacture of coated paper, film and specialty substrates for digital imaging systems, today announced the appointment of Alceste Del Cistia as the company’s new sales manager for Latin America. Del Cistia, who formerly served as director of sales for the Supriway Company, a Brazilian-based sign distributor, will oversee Rexam’s sales efforts in Latin American countries, as well as manage new opportunities, training and customer service for the entire Latin American region.
"We are pleased to add Alceste Del Cistia to the Rexam sales team," said Donald Gaffney, sales manager for the Americas at Rexam Image Products. "He possesses superior knowledge of the Latin American markets and will be an integral part of our growth in that region. His experience and expertise will be invaluable in our efforts to enhance our market presence throughout Latin America."
Before joining Rexam, Del Cistia was employed by one of the largest sign distributors in Brazil, where he was responsible for new business and managed the corporate sales department. His responsibilities at Supriway also included developing new products, customer contact and pricing decisions. Focusing on large customers and corporations, Del Cistia improved Supriway’s growing network of dealers, as well as managed the company’s entire Latin American sales team.
Prior to his position at Supriway, Del Cistia served as director and owner of Graph Media, a sign making company focusing on vinyl products and ink jet imaging. Del Cistia also held various other industry positions, including product manager at Rhone Poulenc, a textile company focused on petrochemicals.
Del Cistia is a graduate of the Maua Engineering School with a degree in civil engineering and also holds an M.B.A from the Mackenzie Institute.
