Texas Type Announces Computer System Upgrade
December 17, 1999 -- San Antonio, TX: Texas Type has installed a new UNIX
Y2K-compliant server and PC network to replace its 15-year-old Burroughs
mainframe and dumb terminal network. As part of its systems enhancement
Texas Type also installed new Tech Systems software with Gordon Graham
inventory controls and Windows 98 software with web, email, and fax capability
at each terminal. The installation was made in September and all systems
are up and running smoothly.
