MacDermid Graphic Arts Announces Completion of Merger
and Name Change
January 3, 2000 – Billerica, MA: MacDermid Graphic Arts, a division
of MacDermid Incorporated, announced completion of the merger between
Polyfibron Technologies, Inc, and MacDermid Incorporated.
The combination of these two businesses creates one company that is able to supply technology, products, and services for virtually any offset blanket, coating blankets, or coating plate need. The familiar and reliable Polyfibron name for offset blankets and the Highlight® name for coating blankets and coating plates are now available from MacDermid Graphic Arts.
The company remains dedicated to a level of customer service, product development, and technology that will set the standard for offset printing and coating now and in the future. The company’s mission is clear: to be the leading supplier to the industry. To achieve that, the company will keep delivering the kinds of quality products and responsive services that add value and productivity to the their customers’ businesses.
