NAGASA Establishes "Channel Links" Section in Web Page for Technical Requests and Reports

Washington, DC, February 8, 2000: The North American Graphic Arts Suppliers Association (NAGASA) announced today that has expanded its web page with a new members-only section entitled "Channel Links: Information Requests and Reports." This new section was created to enhance interaction both among members and between members and organizations interested in sharing information with the channel and seeking information from the channel.

According to Member Services Director Greg DuRoss, "NAGASA has started receiving inquiries from national and international sources for help and information. We are also finding that members and other companies are interested in sharing technical documents, reports, and other non-commercial information with the channel. The NAGASA web page’s Channel Links section accommodates both needs."

NAGASA’s web page (www.nagasa.org) now provides three sections that foster member communication:

  • Industry News, which posts news releases for products, services, and business developments pertinent to the channel
  • Upcoming Events, listing conferences, trade shows, and seminars of interest to the channel
  • Channel Links, encompassing reports and requests for information from national and international members and non-members

NAGASA invites members and non-members to submit news releases, information about additional events, and requests and reports. For the most accurate and timely posting all materials should be sent in a digital format using PDF or Word to: Web Page Editor at information@nagasa.org. Hard-copy materials cannot be accepted for reports. Contact NAGASA at information@nagasa.org with any questions.

DuRoss also commented that further improvements to the NAGASA web page are planned as evolving member needs drive enhancements to this member service, noting, "We’re exploring how NAGASA can best assist member business-to-business (B2B) ecommerce applications, and how the NAGASA web site should be a part of their marketing mix. We welcome all member input regarding needs additions and changes to the site as we move forward."

The North American Graphic Arts Suppliers Association (NAGASA) is the world’s largest association devoted to the needs of dealers, distributors, value-added resellers, and manufacturers who sell through these organizations. NAGASA and its member network represent more than $4.5 billion of traditional and digital equipment and supplies within the total $6 billion printing and imaging channel marketplace. With hundreds of member firms, NAGASA is dedicated to advancing the channel as the source of value added quality products and services for customers.
