Color Savvy Releases $550 System for Calibrating Fiery®
RIPs
Springboro, OH, February 29, 2000 — Color Savvy is releasing the
new "Cal
Assist for Fiery RIPs" software at the On Demand Show in New York
City. The
software, combined with Color Savvy’s ColorMouseToo! Colorimeter,
provides
users with an affordable way to calibrate their output devices using a
Fiery® RIP. Calibration allows printers to produce consistent color
day after day, job after job thereby producing more sellable product.
The "Cal Assist for Fiery RIPs" is a Macintosh application that
takes users step-by-step through the calibration process.
"Fiery customers can now have a choice. They can now obtain consistent
color
for $550.00 versus the $2500 instruments of the past," states Mark
Geeves, Color Savvy’s VP of Marketing & Sales. "The cost
of Color Savvy’s Calibration Assistant software and instrument can
pay for itself by the reduction of one or two service calls where the
service technician only needed to calibrate the printer. "
The Cal Assist for Fiery RIPs retails for $100 and will come FREE with
all ColorMouseToo! Instruments through March 31, 2000. Customers can purchase
