Printware Introduces New Adobe PostScript ZAPrip

Printware recently launched a new Raster Image Processor (RIP) the Printware Adobe PostScript ZAPrip, as an option for Printwareís new PlateStream silver-halide Platesetter. The new RIP is a Windows NTÆ-based, Level 2 RIP driven by true Adobe CPSI software. Adobe PostScript is the standard in compatibility. The RIP is the fastest Printware offers, featuring a Pentium processor, a 1.2 GB EIDE hard disk, and 64 MB RAM. A variety of network protocols may be used, including AppleShare, TCP/IP, NetBEUI, and PAP. The Adobe PostScript ZAPrip receives files using a Network hot folder, Chooser, or Windows Print Manager. Visit the Printware web site at www.printwareinc.com or call 800-456-1400.
