SERVICES; MOVE TO NEW OFFICES IN SAN MATEO SAN MATEO, CA -- April 10, 2000: Collabria, Inc., provider of the most widely used eBusiness solution for printing and publishing, announces several major sales and marketing expansion activities, as well as the move of its corporate headquarters and research & development facilities to a new 14,000 square-foot office in San Mateo, California. "We're excited to have found such a great new home in Silicon Valley with strong ties to both the print industry and many major technology companies," stated Alan Hu, Collabria's CEO. Also, and in response to burgeoning demand from the printing and publishing industry, the company has opened new sales offices in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Charlotte and Washington D.C.. Combined with existing facilities in San Francisco, Oklahoma City, Atlanta and Nashville, Collabria now has 9 regional offices. In addition, Collabria has doubled its domestic sales staff in all markets in order to manage market demand and is undergoing business development throughout Europe and Asia. Collabria recently announced it had reached an agreement with Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Tokyo, to form a strategic business and technology alliance and jointly market Collabria's Internet-based printing workflow solution to the $90B printing industry in Japan. To manage the expanding sales force, Collabria has added two sales executives, Joe Pargola and Ken Marcks. Joe Pargola, a veteran sales executive who most recently served as director of sales for Scitex, was named VP of Commercial Sales. Joe will manage the current Collabria sales staff covering the U.S. and Canada in all major print markets. Also joining Collabria is Ken Marcks, formerly vice president of sales and marketing for Engineous Software. Ken is charged with building Collabria's new enterprise sales group which will be marketing Collabria's enterprise print solution to Fortune 1000 companies.
