Komori and Scitex Announce Strategic Alliance
On the eve of Print '97 Komori Corporation and Scitex Corporation
Ltd. Announced a strategic alliance for the joint development and marketing
of products and workflow solutions aimed at further implementation of integration
between the prepress and pressroom environments. Initially, the two companies
are focusing on the interfacing of their respective systems under CIP3 protocols.
Long-term objectives include the joint marketing of expanded product lines
for digital front end preparation and process control systems. Excerpt from
