Printable.com offers free online services for printers,
acquires funding
Printable.com, San Diego, Calif., has announced a limited
time charter offer that provides the first two elements of its Printer's
DashboardTM for free. The company is including creation of an online presence
with a Web site tailored specifically for the printing industry in its
offer, and will also provide free e-business enablement for these Web
sites or any existing Web site that the printer may have previously established.
The Printer's Dashboard is a personal, intuitive doorway and control panel
that provides printers with an e-business solution for enhancing customer
loyalty, improving profit margins and boosting buying power. When a printer
turns on the computer, the Dashboard appears, bringing the information
and tools specified, whether it's an RFQ from a new customer, an alarm
about an existing customer's problem or a special price from a favorite
paper supplier.
