Collabria's PrintCommerce Solution --

Highlights...
-- MJM Printing has experienced a 40% growth in revenue and jump to 12% profitability using Collabria's PrintCommerce;
-- MJM now uses PrintCommerce for 10 different print buying clients, producing print jobs from business cards to corporate brochures;
SAN MATEO, CA -- Collabria, Inc., a leading provider of eCommerce solutions for the printing industry, today announced that one of its customers, MJM Printing & Graphics of Rockville, Maryland has experienced a 40% growth in revenue and a 12% jump in profitability through the use of PrintCommerce, a suite of products for facilitating workflow and print job processes between print providers and their customers.

"Using the Collabria PrintCommerce(tm) system we were able to streamline production of one order to the point that we were netting $2000 per hour on a small 2-color sheetfed press," stated Mike Murtaugh, president of MJM Printing & Graphics. "Though the numbers sound outrageous, the proof is on bottom line for the last 2 months. And we took that to the bank."

MJM began using PrintCommerce in late 1999 and went live with their first customer in January 2000. A major customer, KPMG, began using the system immediately, placing approximately 6500 business cards orders between the middle of January and the end of February. PrintCommerce substantially streamlined the order input, approval and print production processes.

"KPMG was re-branding their consulting practice which involved a great deal of new materials," stated Murtaugh. "Collabria's PrintCommerce system allowed us to provide them with excellent service, a streamlined procurement process, and reduced costs. In addition, we believe PrintCommerce positions us to expand our relationship with this customer significantly. I attribute a good portion of this success to our eCommerce initiatives with Collabria."

By simplifying the print process, MJM made things easier for KPMG and was able to take advantage of internal efficiencies that translated into profits. Using PrintCommerce, KPMG employees placing orders were able to view and approve the new cards on the Web site within moments of entering the information. This totally eliminated an extensive and time-consuming approval process that relied on numerous faxes between MJM and their customer, streamlining the workflow and opening the door to improved profitability at MJM.

In addition to business cards, MJM Printing also processes letterhead, envelopes, mailing labels, memo pads, and product brochures via the Collabria service. Added Murtaugh, "I like Collabria's service because it allows me to brand my business with my clients. We've spent a lot of resources building our image. Being able to continue that brand recognition via the Internet is critical to our success."

Alan Hu, President and CEO of Collabria said, "We're delighted to help partners such as MJM Printing & Graphics take advantage of the power of the Internet. Collabria's PrintCommerce solutions are empowering printers to change the way their businesses work as they take advantage of working in Internet-time."

As he introduces other customers to PrintCommerce, Murtaugh finds it a powerful tool in obtaining new business. "Customers are interested and want to learn more because we are selling a solution instead of selling a product. We're no longer just selling price, quality and service. Our clients want Ôeasier' and Ôbetter' and eCommerce allows us to differentiate ourselves by delivering both."
