Spencer Acquires Regional Monthlies from Cygnus
Spencer Communications Inc., owner of regional industry
newspapers, Print & Graphics and Printing Journal, has acquired the
titles Southern Graphics and Printing News/Midwest from Cygnus Publishing.
In turn, Cygnus has acquired a minority interest in Spencer Communications
Inc. The two companies have formed the Spencer/Cygnus Regional Print Network,
which will publish a national network of regional trade newspapers for the
printing industry. Spencer Communications will manage the network and its
