NAGASA Publishes "Guide to Creating and Enhancing
a National Network"
Washington, DC, June 1, 2000: The North American Graphic Arts Suppliers
Association (NAGASA) has published a Special Report entitled "A Guide
to Creating and Enhancing a National Network Through Independent Manufacturer
Representatives."
Developed under the direction of NAGASA’s Independent Manufacturer Representative (IMR) Network, this landmark guide:
- Defines Independent Manufacturer Representatives (IMR)
- Lists the many specific value-added roles played by this important segment of the channel
- Provides channel perspectives on IMR activities
- Outlines methods of locating an Independent Manufacturers Representative and includes a listing of NAGASA member representatives
- Includes NAGASA Standard 2000-1 entitled "Model Independent Manufacturer Representative & Manufacturer Contract." First published in Dealer Communicator, this important model agreement was subsequently reviewed and updated by members of NAGASA’s IMR Network to serve as a starting point for manufacturers and their representatives when exploring any business collaboration.
"A Guide to Creating and Enhancing a National Network Through Independent Manu-facturer Representatives" is a 12 page saddle-stitched document measuring 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". The cost is $15.00 per booklet. NAGASA members receive the first copy free upon request and for additional orders may deduct 66% off this list price and pay only $5.00 per copy.
