Fuji Hunt Receives U.S. EPA Award

Fuji Hunt Photographic Chemicals, Inc. is proud to announce that it was selected as a charter member to receive an award from the US Environmental Protection Agency for a new program titled, National Environmental Performance Track. Carol Browner, Administrator of the US EPA presented the award to Randy Block, Quality Projects Manager of Fuji Hunt, on December 13th, 2000 in Washington, DC. Fuji Hunt is one of a select group of corporations nationwide to receive this recognition from the US EPA.

The National Environmental Performance Track builds on the EPA's Common Sense Initiative, Environmental Leadership Program and many state environmental performance programs. This new achievement track defines what it means for a company to be a top environmental performer. The EPA Performance Track promotes environmental management systems and cooperation between government and industry.

Fuji Hunt Photographic Chemicals Inc. is a prominent provider of quality chemical products for the Photographic and Graphic Arts industries and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fuji Photo Film Co. Ltd. of Japan.

In its quest for continual quality and environmental improvement, Fuji Hunt has partnered with the Illinois EPA and the Multi-State Work Group on various new environmental pilot initiatives over the past three years.
