NAGASA COMPLETES 1997 IMAGER STUDY Washington, DC, June 1998—NAGASA—the North American Graphic Arts Suppliers Association—has completed the first-ever dealer-level study of the North American imager market. The study, conducted by Mason Consulting Inc., tracked the sales of imagesetters, platesetters, and other graphic arts imagers sold through resellers. In announcing completion of the study, NAGASA President and CEO David J. Steinhardt said: "NAGASA is pleased at the response by both dealers and manufacturers to this groundbreaking study of imager sales through the dealer/reseller channel. The study not only provides marketing and statistical information heretofore unavailable, but it reinforces the importance of the reseller channel to the industry." Brian H. Kroot, President of Northeastern Graphics and NAGASA Chair, added "The 1997 NAGASA Imager Study represents a pioneering effort of the association to Most dealer members of NAGASA furnished data for the study, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the data reported.
