Channel Leadership: Broader & Stronger
In 1996, NAGASA participated in 4 new industry initiatives with other organizations to encourage a broader, stronger channel.They included design for the 1997 National Environmental Health & Safety Conference sponsored by 8 industry associations;
development of a joint Diversity Initiative with the National Alliance of Print Communications, a group of minority-owned printing firms. NAGASA is the only industry association advancing diversity;
co-sponsoring the NPES Print Outlook '97 meeting in November; co-sponsoring - with PIA, NPES, NAPL and IPA - development of a National Center for Printing, Publishing & Imaging at RIT.
