A Marketing Opportunity For Manufacturers

At Forum 2002, the Saturday afternoon program will be devoted to a series of presentations by member companies intended to both provide useful information on technology as well as the opportunity to acquaint attendees with their companies, and the products and services they offer.

Elements of the Program

  1. All manufacturers are eligible.
  2. There will be six slots of 25 minutes each, including questions and answers.
  3. Selection criteria will include: the order of receipt of requests, a desire to have depth and breadth to the presentations, and special consideration for small and medium size companies.
  4. Presentation focus: The presentation should focus on changes in technology, what it means for the industry, your company, and your dealers. The presentation should explain how the changes in technology are translating into changes in your company's products and services with illustrative examples allowed. You may mention what new products or features your company introduced last year or plans to introduce in 2002. However, this is NOT just a 25 minute commercial for your company.

Ground rules

Failure to abide by the following basic ground rules jeopardizes the success of a session that can be of great value to members. Therefore, the ground rules will be strictly enforced.

  • There must be a significant industry/channel focus to your presentation.
  • All presentations must be submitted in advance to NAGASA in order to allow sufficient time for review and revisions if required. Presentations that have not been reviewed will not be allowed to be presented. Submission deadline is April 1, 2002.
  • There is to be NO comparison of your products with another company's.
  • There is to be NO criticism of another company or it's products.
  • Payment of the Marketing Opportunity Fee described below must be received prior to Forum.

Marketing Opportunity Fee

In order to defray costs and support this program, participating companies will be asked to pay a "Marketing Opportunity Fee" based on their company size:

  • Small companies $500 (up to $10 million annual sales)
  • Medium companies $1000 ($10 to $50 million annual sales)
  • Large companies $1500 (Over $50 million annual sales)
